Booths Bank Farm, located in Worsley, Salford, is currently home to derelict farm buildings and open farmland. The proposal envisions the creation of 26 high-end homes, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and elegance. The proposal includes the thoughtful demolition of existing structures while prioritizing the preservation of the mature trees which will blending modern living with environmental sensitivity.
Aligned with the "Places for Everyone" framework, this project caters to the luxury housing market, offering generously sized plots and exceptional build quality. The architectural design draws inspiration from the surrounding area's rich and varied architecture, reinterpreting traditional elements with a contemporary touch in both facade materials and rooflines.
A key aspect of the development is the removal of an existing concrete culvert, which will be replaced by a natural brook, enhancing the site's aesthetics while integrating sustainable drainage solutions. In addition, a newly created wetland area will not only add to the landscape’s appeal but also play a vital role in flood mitigation, blending ecological benefits with thoughtful design.
