Hachem's newest addition Bond; a nightclub/bar built within an existing multi story car-park. Its character and appeal were derived from its dimensions - long and low, and removed from the busy CBD surrounds.
Bond’s owners wanted this character to be maintained but modernized, and made once again synonymous with luxury and exclusivity.
Bond beautifully illustrates the integration of practicality within luxury, and it promotes the potential for interior design to keep pace with technological advancement.
Bond’s owners wanted its character to be modern, and made once again synonymous with luxury and exclusivity. Hachem created Bond to be a rich and layered experience. Drawing guests out of themselves, to mingle with the ‘in’ crowd. The Studio worked to define the values, ideas and philosophy of the nightclub genre. Perhaps the most consistent theme being a means to escape from daily life, a fantasy and heightening of the senses. Bond is a sub-ground cocoon, built within an off-form concrete car-park. Its height, an internal series of support columns and concrete slab are fixed.
