Again in downtown was the aim of the competition. The presence of the statue of Neptune in the heart of the city was the initial reason and detonator for imagining something unusual especially in Bologna :Water. Foldable street canopies ( avoiding to put a forest of pillars), small and movable covered gardens (inspired by renaissance painting) and situations for short transit and leisure and with the flexibility required for this type of project. Mapping Bologna with water, and invading so with its conceptual streams for creating an invasive architecture but still at an human scale.
