The challenge was to create our own architectural office with its numerous spatial requirements in a small 80sqm tenancy. To avoid a cellular arrangement, a sinuous, multi-purpose joinery ‘wall’ was constructed to delineate the public and private areas. The snaking blue-green acrylic ‘wall’ captures spaces throughout the office in a fluid, playful way. The experimental materials combined with the unexpected floor plan are effective tools in creating a vibrant working environment.
We enjoy the opportunity that our own fitout has provided in demonstrating to clients how established norms in workplace environments can be challenged and reinterpreted to create new and refreshing spaces in which to work.
