Located North of Mumbai, overlooking the Arabian Sea, this structure was originally built as a Chapel by the Portuguese 300 years ago. It still stands on its original plinth of 13 m x 13 m with the rear wing being a later addition. The restoration is in keeping with the original architectural style, with the use of natural materials. Furniture and fittings are a collection of original antiques and reproduced period pieces. The surrounding landscape compliments and enhances the structures architectural features. By night, the subtle, indirect exterior lighting is reflected in the swimming pool.
