BMW Northwest (originally constructed in 1988) was required to upgrade their entire facility to meet a new global image and functional standard.
The design concept is intended to become a background for the new BMW vehicle display areas and to provide a comfortable atmosphere for the customer. The project takes advantage of the prominent location adjacent to Interstate 5, balancing the visual impact of the building with dramatic views of the cars displayed inside.
The site was reconfigured to provide additional vehicle display areas, customer parking and to improve vehicular and pedestrian pathways. The showroom was expanded to accommodate 12 vehicles and also includes two glass vehicle delivery bays. An enclosed service drive was also added, incorporating high speed roll-up doors.
The new facility has been widely embraced by the community, customers and BMW corporate leaders.
