A true architectural and urban challenge encompassing 28.000m². This project includes: a car showroom (1.400m²) built on two levels, the largest BMW motorcycle showroom in Belgium, several workshops including 50 operational car lifts and 12 dedicated to motorcycles, 8 interactive vehicle reception bays, a delivery space for 6 cars and finally 530 parking spots.
Building this industrial site in the heart of the city was a challenge accomplished by our professional staff. An impact analysis and implication assessment were conducted in order to allow smooth integration of this oversized sale point in the centre of Brussels.
The buildings were minutely designed and equipped with high-performance energy efficiency, ecological roofs, a rainwater collector system, biological water recycling for the car-washes, floor heating and double flow ventilation. FCM Architects also managed the interior design: the quality of the materials and design were elaborated with care and sophistication while also taking into account the daily commercial usage of the space.
A wonder of aesthetics and technology for which the German Headquarters and Belux subsidiary at BMW have invested 25€ million both in this project and in the trust they have in their partner, FCM Architects.
