Urban Design Group served as architect for Blueprint Robotics’ manufacturing facility at Duke Realty’s Chesapeake Commerce Center, delivering both core and shell construction and a tailored interior fit-out from concept through construction administration. The project required careful integration of complex machinery, office spaces, locker rooms, and break areas while responding to site-specific traffic, environmental, and wayfinding needs. Urban Design Group collaborated closely with the tenant to optimize plant layout and operational efficiency, strategically locating the loading dock away from office areas and enhancing the workspace with expansive upper-floor windows. The completed facility provides a centralized, collaborative environment for design and manufacturing operations, supporting Blueprint Robotics’ growth as a leading innovator in off-site building components.
