The Blue Gallery was built as the 2nd phase of the renovation of changing rooms at Ledina Grammar School. Just like in the case of the Girly gallery, we used the advantage of the high ceiling and placed the wardrobe to the mid level, creating a new floor. In this way we freed the ground level for access to both of the gyms. The idea to maximally exploit the volume for the changing rooms and storage underneath consequently shaped the volume, which fits perfectly in the space and guarantees the maximum usable area. The storage and changing room are hidden behind the wooden panels, which are fixed on a steel structure like a " barcode " and painted in gentle blue. The ground floor ambient is therefore cool and calm, while the upper floor shines in bright orange. The sitting area in the dressing room is wooden and covered with rubber flooring with orange texture which resembles the surface of a basketball . The duality of the ambiance is interesting and unusual because the visitor does not see the transition from one color to another except through a sequence of views when moving through the space.
