Conceptualized on the guidelines of Neo-pedestrianism, a more pedestrian and ecology-oriented variation of New Urbanism, this master plan replaces front streets with tree-lined pedestrian lanes that form a linear park system that directly connects all homes and businesses to each other, as well as to parks, water bodies, courtyards, recreation, and other amenities.
By eliminating the front street and replacing it with a tree-lined pedestrian lane, emphasis is placed on low-impact alternative travel such as walking and cycling thus reducing excessive automobile dependency. A separate tree-lined, street grid for cars is relegated to the rear, with the pedestrian/bike grid as the primary transportation.
The townhouses boast of large internal spaces overlooking lush private green spaces acting as oxygen bars.
Using earthen, eco friendly materials such as engineered stone flooring and natural brick exposed or clad external facades this project bridges the gap between nature and built spaces.
