The challenge lay in designing an office space to encourage great design. Within the workplace, it was decided that each team reside in a pod, comprising a large, open, central area for collaboration and play, with surrounding one- and two-person offices and conference rooms. This arrangement provided the perfect balance between collaboration spaces and quiet workspaces for concentrated, individual work. A coherence of principal design elements pervade every corner, there is no discontinuity felt even between spaces used for completely different reasons. While the walls of the interior reflect an industrial setting, the accessories that embellish it represent an art studio and the workstations are done so as to project a futurist environment. The three storeyed design studio brings into the mix multiple design disciplines, offering a glimpse to every visitor the far reaching capabilities of its inhabitants.
