Winner of the USA property AWARDS Architechture texas 2022-2023.
Our goal was clear: to create a dynamic and flexible workspace that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. We achieved this by developing a cluster of seven interconnected modular buildings, each thoughtfully designed to coexist with its natural surroundings.
Influenced by the existing conditions of the site, the concept of the project was to create a cluster of small office buildings within a forest. At the center of the composition, a large courtyard would define the heart of the complex and the main gathering space. A linear strip of landscape would cut across the site on its east-west axis, creating a pedestrian connection between the access road (west) and a golf course (east).
The interstitial spaces between the buildings will become a series of distinct patios that will house works of artwork, creating a network of spaces that can be navigated as an outdoor gallery or an art park.
