Home interior designed by the Ukrainian designer Andrey Sokruta for a 50-year-old couple.
The apartment, located In the Lipinka residential complex in Kyiv (Ukraine) has been designed in a modern minimalist style with elements of art dèco.
It consists of an open space composed by kitchen and living room, separated from the front door by a unique "Negro Marquina" marble wall delivered from Spain expressly for this project.
Because of the compactness of the apartment, the team of Andrey Sokruta Workshop carefully examined all sizes, zoning the space for each item and structure. Therefore, the entrance along with the dressing room, marble partition and kitchen were shifted to one side of the apartment.
Soon after a small entrance hall, the team of Andrey Sokruta Workshop provided a stylish marble wall at a distance of 1.5 m from the inspirational door.
Regarding the aesthetic solutions that Andrey Sokruta applied, must be considered the vertical floor-to-ceiling panels and the glossy black doors (also from floor to ceiling).
The apartment also consists of a spacious bedroom, with a dressing room and a working place, and a bathroom located behind the kitchen.
The built-in kitchen is made of fine and original materials and is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven and other appliances, and in the opposite wall, a working area is composed of a hob and a dishwasher.
As requested by the new owners, the designer Andrey Sokruta provided also a countertop that opens into the living room and forms a bar counter, to dine or drink a bottle of wine.
The spacious and bright living room consists of a sofa from the Ukrainian company Interia, an original coffee table, stylish interior items and a functional TV furniture which also contains the last generation bio fireplace. The ceiling lighting comes from the XAL factory and the suspension lamps from the Spanish Arcus Light, while above the bar, there is a track with three lamps.
The bedroom, which also leads to a dressing room, is illuminated by a large window consisting of a downy curtain, a soft carpeted floor and a working place explicitly requested by customers.
he most original element of the bedroom is the decoration consisting of wooden hexagons and the painting of a girl in the style of the Cherokee Indians.
Finally, the minimalist bathroom, perfect for the couple in terms of size and functionality.
