Within the suburban Phoenix fabric of little pink houses sits the Black House.
The project consisted of a full makeover, including the front, back and interior, from a typical pink suburban home to a modern work of architecture with bold street appeal, comfortable back yard living and an interior unfettered by superfluous walls. The interior palette consists of warm colors and comfortable materials with clean lines. Etched glass implies a division of space, light and mirror are integrated into one, warm grey porcelain floors combine with smooth white walls creating the furniture backdrop.
The Black House stands apart as a tribute to Mr. Plumbeans neighborhood (Google it).
