BioLegend’s campus inspiring design fosters collaboration and commitment to the pursuit of legendary discoveries. Within the 8-acre compound, a complete transformation was formed rejuvenating three older buildings and introducing a magnificent 70-foot-tall atrium at the heart of the main 135,000 SF campus building.
This focal point allows seamless access to upper-floor labs, offices, break rooms, and conference facilities, and is designed to support efficient and flexible inter-departmental collaboration. A pedestrian bridge connects the atrium to the refurbished 44,000 SF administrative building, strategically positioning enticing indoor and outdoor amenities.
An expansive green roof tastefully conceals a 500-person multi-purpose room, creating a harmonious blend of function and aesthetics. These eco-friendly measures contribute to rainwater filtration, roof insulation, and reducing heat gain. Being water conscious, the campus cleverly captures and treats all on-site stormwater, furthering its commitment to responsible and eco-conscious practices.
The discreetly placed seven-story, 700-space car park supports an extensive photovoltaic system, emphasizing the company’s commitment to renewable energy, with electric car charging stations for environmentally conscious commuting.
