Located in the industrial heart of Ghaziabad, the design for Billtech’s new corporate office reimagines the workplace in a manufacturing context. The company, known for its LED lights, switchgears, and switchboards with a strong export base across the Middle East, has envisioned its third-floor office as more than an administrative space. It was to become a stage where brand identity and hospitality converge.
The design has aimed to reflect Billtech’s expanding global footprint while providing an efficient and aspirational setting for its teams and visiting clients. Moving away from the utilitarian vocabulary typical of industrial offices, the space has been shaped to represent the company’s precision, progressiveness, and human focus.
For Resaiki Interiors and Architecture Design Studio, the challenge has been to transform a linear floorplate into a balanced and cohesive plan. Through horizontal bifurcation and Vastu-guided planning, the design brought coherence and flow, ensuring that every functional requirement aligned with positive energy and operational logic. The placement of drainage lines, restrooms, and service cores was mapped meticulously to preserve both efficiency and elemental harmony.
The spatial journey begins at a well-defined reception and conference zone that immediately communicates professionalism and order. Beyond this threshold, the workspace opens into clearly demarcated verticals for accounts, HR, marketing, and sales, each anchored by its Head of Department cabin. Linear seating arrangements reinforce visual connectivity and encourage collaborative engagement, while maintaining a clear sense of hierarchy.
Positioned strategically on one side of the plan, the two director cabins express both legacy and evolution. Each features private restrooms, dedicated storage, and carefully balanced proportions that reflect authority without opulence.
At the opposite end, the cafeteria forms a social counterpoint to the corporate zones. With its attached kitchen and adjacent guest suite, this area reflects a human-centric approach, designed for sales personnel or distributors who often arrive at irregular hours. The suite, equipped with a bedroom and restroom, transforms the office into a semi-hospitality environment, reinforcing Resaiki’s belief in design that responds to lived realities.
Materiality plays a central role in redefining the office’s industrial setting. A palette of muted neutrals—wood, grey, and white—forms the architectural base, allowing natural light to travel across surfaces. Within this compact setting, a single, decisive gesture introduces vibrancy: the company’s bold red brand colour.
Instead of dispersing it throughout the office, Resaiki consolidated this energy into a single sculptural intervention, a breakout and waiting zone outside the director's cabins. Entirely rendered in red, this space functions as a waiting lounge, informal discussion area, and collective address area where the directors can connect directly with their teams. The custom-built seating flows seamlessly from wall to floor, bending to form a continuous sofa and back panel, a tactile, architectural expression of unity and movement.
The director’s cabin encapsulates the company’s forward-looking ethos. A flamboyant veneer desk anchors the space, complemented by a height-adjustable standing workstation that allows flexibility in posture and workflow. This subtle yet symbolic detail captures the new generation’s emphasis on adaptability and modernity.
Throughout the office, lighting—unsurprisingly for a company that manufactures it—is layered and purposeful. Warm, even illumination defines work zones, while accent lights highlight product displays, turning the space itself into a living catalogue of Billtech’s expertise.
Billtech’s Ghaziabad office transcends the conventional boundaries of a corporate setting. It is at once a functional workplace, a brand gallery, and a human environment. Through Vaastu-guided logic, sensory materiality, and design gestures that embody both discipline and warmth, Resaiki has created a space that mirrors the company’s dual identity—rooted in industry, yet aspiring toward innovation and global visibility.
