with a performative agenda, Billie Jean, acknowledges and is
reflective of the obligation accorded to an unequal lighting
requirement across its surface. Proliferating a varying field of
water proof quarter inch thick dimmable LEDs across the ground
surface, the project allows for a differentiated envelope of diffused
light along its outter perimeter, that grows in intensity
progressively from the interior of the house to the outer ring, an
intensity that reveals itself both in size and density. Twin
variances, one distributing itself across the field horizontally with
the other vertically, working in opposition geometrically while
performing on separate electric circuits, are collappsed, allowing
for the emergence of a informed heterogenous patchwork of
illumination.
