I HAVE FOUND THIS COMPETITION CHALLENGE VERY INTERESTING FOR MANY REASONS.THE FINAL RESULT: THE BIG MINIMAL BOX, COMES FROM THE ANALYSIS OF THE URBAN CONTEST WHERE THE PUSHKINSKY CINEMA IS LOCATED. THE AREA IS RICH OF DIFFERENT ELEMENTS WHICH MAKE THE COMPLEXITY OF THE SQUARE.tHIS PLACE CONTAIN ARCHITECTURE, OPEN SPACE, GREEN AREAS, UNDERGROUND CONNECTION AND THE MEETING PLACE OF SEVERAL IMPORTANT STREET OF THE CITY. THE FACADE OF THE CINEMA NOWADAYS SEEMS TO BE ABUSED BY THE TIME AND BY THE SPONTANEOUS APPLICATION OF EXTERNAL ELEMENTS WHICH TAKE PLACE ON IT WITH AGGRASSION.THE FIRST IMPORTANT THING TO DO IT WAS TO CLEAN THE FACADE AND TO BRING IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL STATE AS MORE AS POSSIBLE, REMOVING ANY ADDED ELEMENT AND LEAVING THE FACADE CLEAN. AFTER THIS RESTORATION THE CINEMA NEEDED A NEW FACE.THE MOST OF THE ARCHITECTURE AROUND ARE MOSTLY CLASSIC AND AN INTEGRATION WITH THEM IT IS REALLY HARD.I DECIDED THAT THERE WERE SEVERAL POINTS TO PUT THE BASE FOR THE PROJECT: TO HAVE AS BETTER AS POSSIBLE A DELICATE IMPACT ON THE AREA AROUND, TO SAVE AND LEAVE CLEAN THE FRONT FACADE, TO LET BE THE CINEMA VISIBLE AS WELL FROM FAR AND TO PROTECT THE "OLD" CINEMA AS A ARCHITECTONICAL AND HISTORICAL IMPORTANT BUILDING.
