BGI R&D CENTER
Starting the project, Bangkok Glass Industry (project owner) wants to build a building for research and product development. And also want the building to be an icon of the Bangkok Glass organization.
On the green area and multipurpose yard of 1-acre factory worker. This area is important to the organization and the factory workers more than 1000 people and is an important space in the middle of the various buildings within the factory area, such as Factory, office, canteen, factory staff accommodation, project road.
The architect team has designed a solution to meet the context of the place. Areas that are important to the organization and factory staff In accordance with the requirements of Bangkok Glass Industry (project owner)
The building has 650 square meters of living space, 2 floors, 550 square meters of ground floor, and 100 square meters of mezzanine floor. The utility space is divided into 4 types, common hall area, office, and research lab. And the section for external communication education
The building is a modern architecture. Looks like a golden silica sand crystal, which is forming Is an unfinished shape Expressing movement In the middle of the area That is important to the organization and factory staff
In front of the building is a reflecting pond. And a multipurpose yard of factory employees That is used to carry out various activities together Of employees in various departments within the organization
By every time before walking into the building We will see both buildings and reflections on the water, which will see the golden silica crystals that formed a perfect shape.
