Heavy traffic spaces attract a wide range of different customers and, to meet demand, Atelier8 designs a flexible space created by adding atmospheres.
The location overlooks the roof terrace of a shopping center in Chengdu and is clearly defined by a long curved façade. The different atmospheres are caged in a characteristic volume and move away from the curtain glass, thus creating the gap between public and private.
There are three main ambiences within the space visually connected thanks to different transparencies. It is possible to combine these to achieve the maximum capacity.
