To
moor on an island, which is pulled back by its past, diving in the heart of its
culture which celebrates the radiant marriage between the land and the sea.
Kastellorizo is an uncommon place which coexists with advantages of an island
and ghosts from the past. For centuries, the island was dominated by human
abuse: wars and resources consumption. The group of islands where it belongs
was controlling the entire Mediterranean region. The estrangement and the
popular representation of the island
generates greed and interest towards the island but meanwhile reflects its
weaknesses and provokes the underlying questions of progress and
under-development. The threat of losing their identity and the threat of
urbanization is the lesson learnt from a high
and colonizing tourism. This is in order to avoid a fervent disorder of the
island space. The aim of this work is to propose a strategy to organize the
village and optimize the existing resources. Education, local culture and
research are gathering and creating a loud team, which needs to communicate. Study with Insula-Unesco.
