The West Village Townhouse’s 800sf back garden material palette creates a continuation between old and new. The perimeter brick
wall extends from the existing façade but folds and bends to create a waterfall. The brick pavement at the ground disappears into the
garden as the layout of the brick pavers slacken to create spaces for vegetation.
At the 900sf rooftop, a glass and metal skin runs parallel to the existing bulkhead, expanding the space in between to create a rooftop
pavilion. The pavilion divides the rooftop into two main areas; brick pavement for entertaining and a green roof. Custom metal panels
fold to create the kitchen. The same formal language in the panels is used to create outdoor furniture
