Opened in January 2012, Best Western Premier, is located in the heart of Bangkok. Best Western Premier lends itself to an ideal location in Sukhumvit Soi 1 which being centered to the business, commercial, restaurants & entertainment district, not only it is benefiting from being situated in the vicinity of the world renowned "Bumrungraj International Hospital". The location is engaging for both leisure and medical tourism, not to mention the added convenient of the hi-way and the sky train merely steps away, you will be instancly transported to all that Bangkok has to offer. Having worked on the previously opened Best Western Plus, ASC Interior was consequently entrusted and commissioned to design this Best Western Premier by Fifty Five Properties. Our design goal was to offer a new experience to the client: a detail oriented, functional and sophisticated hotel. The goal is simple: to provide guests a memorable travel vacation hotel without forgetting the Best Western responsibility program to grow a greener world.Focused on the concept of "city", the overall design is to approach a sophisticated, vibrant and energetic space that reflects different aspects of Bangkok. The interior design of Best Western Premier is a success of several phases, especially the incorporation of the city”references in its core roots of the concept, depicting a remarkable magical atmosphere that lights up both day and night. The materials and colors are unified harmoniously to strike and define the rich interiors. In completion of the project ASC commissioned local artisans such as sculptors, lighting designers, and painters alike in order unify the craftsmanship of the hotel coherently. One may have heard "You never get a second chance to make a first impression", therefore ASC believes that the paramount of design is the ability to create the right mood and accentuates the guest experience. The finest selection of the mood lighting is carefully provided at the entrance to associate with Bangkok night light landscape. A wide variety of vibrant lighting colors are used to create the mystical and magical feeling of the night-lights of Bangkoks cosmic scenery. For instance, shades of green, yellow, red, pink and purple, is used in the entrance area. These colorful and energetic lightings will periodically flash their colors in reminiscence of the Bangkok night-lights.The main focal point in the lobby is the astonishing map that is spread from the ceiling to the back wall of the reception counter, lighting up with warm lights. The check-in desk is constructed with horizontal lines contouring the Bangkok skyscraper. Our design approach for overall hotel is to bring the architectural line of the exterior into interior, the result is a constant dialogue between exterior and interior space.
