The addition of this swimming pool, terrace and subterranean gym and courtyard garden saw the completion of this substantial home, although this was the only part of it designed by Architecture Matters.
Continuing the owners' commitment to utilising high quality materials, as evidenced elsewhere in the house already, the pool terrace and adjoining paths are paved in bluestone and Castlemaine slate whilst the sub-pool and garden retaining walls are similarly finished in bluestone cladding and sand and cement render.
The pool terrace forms a formal foreground to the expansive rural views beyond.
The curved retaining walls frame a hidden and tranquil Japanese-style garden designed by Jhodie Goy Designs, whilst the exterior lighting was by Richmond Lighting.
