Originally built in the ’80s, this post-modern hillside house was a mishmash of styles. The trapezoid-shaped house — with a distinctive rounded tower in the corner — sits on a triangular lot. In remaking the home, we leaned into the geometry of the house while creating a more expansive interior. A reconfigured kitchen on the second floor features a trapezoid island that echoes the shape of the house. New minimalist details combined with crafted elements, such as a tapered reclaimed post, bring a warm, quiet aesthetic to unusual spaces.
