Studio Rinaldi was approached by Leufroy Developers to oversee the architectural renovation and complete internal reconfiguration of a traditional London townhouse with
a separate lower ground floor apartment.
Central to the brief was the creation of a rear extension and the seamless amalgamation of the entire building to restore its coherence as a single-family home.
The project involved substantial structural intervention to accommodate the new rear extension and the introduction of a bespoke staircase that links all levels.
Internally, Studio Rinaldi led the redefinition of spatial layout, architectural lighting, floor finishes, and bespoke joinery in the bathrooms and kitchen.
Careful material specification across bathrooms, kitchen and finishes ensured that each component contributes to a cohesive interior narrative.
Our design strategy honours the townhouse’s original character while infusing it with a contemporary sensibility.
Through the considered selection of refined materials and architectural detailing, we have transformed the property into a sequence of light-drenched,
generous spaces that balance heritage with modern refinement.
