Bergen Street Condos is a schematic design study for a developer who understands the near future in real estate: Millennial and Gen Z buyers willing to pay a premium for urban sustainability, with a well-balanced combination of clean energy, green outdoor spaces, modern yet earthy materials, and prime community spaces & amenities.
We therefore designed a seven-story mixed-use building that seamlessly weaves nature into the urban fabric. Featuring a striking green facade and warm, earth-toned materials, this project sets a new standard for sustainable living where well-being takes center stage.
The ground floor activates the streetscape with a dedicated Fresh Market and hospitality spaces, fostering local commerce and community connection. 16 high-quality residential units (primarily 2 and 3-bedroom apartments) offer spacious, light-filled homes, air-conditioned with units half the size of standard counterparts. The terraced design incorporates significant outdoor space for residents, enhancing well-being, outdoor activities, biodiversity, and carbon absorption while mitigating urban heating and flooding.
