Farmers Bank Building was transformed from a historic bank building into a LEED 21st-century workplace that retains the grandeur and elegance of the original bank building. Vault doors, teller windows and the original gold leaf ceiling were preserved and re-purposed. Sustainable features were incorporated into the design including a photo voltaic array, ground source heating and cooling using chilled beams and abundant natural daylight strategies utilizing skylights and a solar tube halo. Nichols Booth Architects were the Design Architects and J.P. Copoulos, Architect was the Architect of Record.
