The new Bengerd Sports Hall for Campus Ringsted, south of Copenhagen utilizes the enormous potential to orchestrate various functions in one contemporary architectural framework. The proposal combines a number of sporting activities, making the hall an important focal point on campus.

The Sports Hall creates the meeting point for all the sporting activities unfolding on the playing fields surrounding it, as well as providing a framework for the life that takes place on the sidelines before, during and after the games around the building. With this new sports hall, fully integrated into the existing life at Ringsted Campus, we attempt to add a communal social space for the audience and to the athletes.
