Benetton Headquarters in Tehran, Islamic Republicof Iran
Figurative decision of the building creates by contraposition (collation) of old and new forms. Image of planning structure of old Teheran became a base of facades graphic (sun protection system), and "to get free" glasses spaces - symbolic image of anew city with its modern technologies. Green recreation areas take part into a building like parks and green squares in a planning of Teheran they are unite section of this parts and base of sustainability. So parts of the building provide the best and most coherent integration to the urban structure. Project take into cultural and technical assets.
Facade structure system and glass allows maximum connect internal and outdoor spaces. Sun protection lattice (aluminum structure) for diffusing direct rays of sun do building especial.
The main ideas of the project are:
- maximum integration of the building in a city structure
- join outdoor spaces in a structure of building
- join building with nature (organic system of existence)
- create variable spaces in a building
- creation new architectural image for Teheran
Construction materials – metallic framework, reinforced concrete, facade system (schueco)
Net of the pillars 6.4 m allows to realize free planning areas. Possible transformation of internal space.
Total office space area - 4320 m2
Total commercial space area - 2305 m2
Total apartments space area - 780 m2
Total parking space area - 4860 m2
Total storage space area - 575 m2
Total “green space” area - 2177 m2
