Addition of three levels on an existing two level building to create four apartments and a commercial space in central Paris. The challenge was to integrate the existing structure in the new project. Three levels in lgihtweight timber structure are added to the existing re-inforced concrete structure. The existing facade has been modified to align with the new structure. With regular generously proportioned windows, the facade is intended as a reinterpretation of the classic parisisan faubourgian building, but better adapted for current uses and functions.
