The project re-purposed the heritage designated Beach United Church into a five storey residential building with retail space and parking at the ground floor and below grade storage. The additions made allowed for increased floor area, terraces, and green roofs.
Structural work for the interior renovation and addition was entirely built with prefabricated steel components to minimize costs, expedite construction, and use recyclable materials. The delicate treatment of the exterior of the building has maintained the original facade and impact on the street.
