DSA worked with an investor to create this beautiful modern
home on a pie-shaped lot off Belleair Beach. The client wanted to maximize the square footage of the home as much as possible within the allowable limits of the site. This created an interesting design challenge to utilize the entire buildable area of the uniquely shaped lot. Our team designed the home with a vast curved deck and roof structure at the rear with full views of the waterfront, following the curve of the property line. At the front of the home,
the 3-story glass stair tower allows the circulation to become a focal point of the design.
The ground level of the home features garage space for six
cars along with an expansive outdoor living space – including an outdoor kitchen,
dining space, lounge space and pool deck. The second floor contains a 2-story
great room oriented to maximize views of the water from the interior with an
overlooking catwalk. The kitchen and dining room are also oriented to capture
the best view of the water, as well as a large entertainment retreat with a wet
bar and access to the large balcony. On the third level, the secondary bedrooms
were designed to include ensuite bathrooms, walk-in closets, and balcony
access. The master suite is also located on the third level to capture the best
view in the home, complete with corner windows wrapping three sides of the
room.
