Thomas has always loved California beaches, but sometimes getting to the beach in LA costs time and aggravation. Wouldn't it be great to have a beach right in your own neighborhood, where you can hang out with friends and have a drink or a healthy snack? That's exactly what Thomas designed for his West Hollywood neighborhood, just a block from the Schoos Design offices. Named Beach Nation, it features a huge sand box where one can put your toes in the sand and enjoy LA sunshine while dining on a burger or a designer coffee drink. The large deck has that Schoos touch with over-sized table lamps, signature modern planters, bright orange throw pillows, waving palm trees and rustling grasses. Beer and wine are coming soon, so keep in touch!
