The home features a two-story volume under a butterfly roof and a separate single-story guest wing. The wall of windows on the west side of the home provides expansive views of the Puget Sound and Olympic mountains from its location on the West Seattle waterfront. The unique site required barging in many of the building materials and the foundation is built upon one-hundred and fifteen pilings.
The house was featured in Seattle Homes & Lifestyles in June 2004.
