Big Dutchman Agriculture Sdn Bhd is a global livestock equipment company that operates on the International Arena. The new regional Headquarters is located in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang. The site lies in a high density heavy Industrial zone surrounded by energy intensive factories which imposes visible infrastructural pressures into this area. This is in contrast to the origins of BDA operations in rural Europe where Industries co-exists in green sensitive environment. Therefore, the HQ and warehouse draws from its European origins by breaking the mould in Bukit Raja as an Industrial Facility set in a lush green landscaped environment.
Underlying it all, the fundamental of Good Sustainable Architecture is anchored by its Passive Green Design. The floating Wall Concept maximises the openings to the edge of potential rain penetration to negate heat build-up as fresh air is permitted to flow. The campus reduces dependency on fossil fuel energy by generating solar power as part of its clean energy programme through the PV Cell Technology.
Big Dutchman Agriculture HQ recognizes that its existence is an integral part of a sustainable environmental ecology. The realisation of this architectural design reflects BDA’s innovation in growing their business on high on bedrock of Brick by Brick tradition to elevate the promise of its potential future.
