BB Loft
The project
is about a conversion of a 200 sqm warehouse in a large loft, located in the
city centre of Turin (Italy). The purpose is to confirm
and enhance industrial past of the space by materials and finishing selection,
like uniform resin flooring, black bricks for partitions and wooden shelves.
A shiny and
matte triangular patterned frame, 7 meters high,
bordering the helicoidal
staircase at the entrance in the ground floor.
A wide
space is assigned to living area: a large open-space divided only by glazed/transparent
glass partitions with kitchen, dining and living room. The sizeable window
opens loft in the terrace direction, combining naturally outside with inside.
Master
bedroom and study are designed as a little suite,
divided from living by two full-height sliding doors, hidden inside wall.
Another bedroom with a restroom is intended to guests.
