The merge of two leading manufacturers of wooden floor (Bauwerk and BOEN) lead to the decision to accompany industrial area with the modern administrative office building.
Despite the fact that the object is located in a middle of countryside, the task was to create quite neat and modern space that would allow to expose companys’ product - wooden floor.
The functional planning was based on the need to have separate room for each branch of the office. However our studio raised the task to design connecting spots that would still keep over 60 coworkers in touch every day. To fulfill this idea we designed lounge area, open wardrobe, courtyard, and café as a core of the building that lets the flow to circle around.
Dark net of center columns and partly opened ceiling constructions emphasizes the core idea. It is an allusion to a tree branches that holds all household around.
Area of the café was designed as a resemblance of a bar where technical service area is partly closed from the dining area however it is still easily accessible for everyone. The zoning and transparent partitions allows to keep privacy and communicate at the same time.
Some bright color accents in common space help to create dynamic atmosphere while rest of the area remains visually clean and appropriate for the concentration and work.
