The Basegi reserve stretches in the Ural Mountains in the northeastern part of the Perm Territory and is one of the most picturesque places in the region. These are rock formations, divided into three parts: North Baseg, Middle and South. The project provides for the improvement of the route to the North Baseg. The nature of the Basegs is characterized by the dynamics of lines and shapes, all sorts of shades of gray in layered stones against the background of a bright flora that has its own uniqueness.
The task of the project is to make sure that the visitor can already from the very beginning of the journey feel the spirit of the place and feel the belonging to something special. Therefore, the shaping and details of objects have a direct reference to the dynamics of rocks and their tops. But at the same time, complex and expressive forms do not interfere with the perception of natural attractions, but only complement the local landscapes. The colors of the objects of the tourist infrastructure are in tune with the local nature, therefore the boards are artificially aged. It both adds expressiveness and seamlessly integrates the amenities into the local landscape.
There are 6 stops on the route in total: an entrance group with a canopy and places for recreation, a camping site - the Northern Meadows cordon, the house of geologists, a stop in the forest, subalpine meadows and the uppermost observation deck overlooking the tundra and crooked woodlands.
The first completed object is an entrance lobby with a canopy and an area where you can relax before climbing to the top of Northern Baseg. She is the hallmark of the route. Object spaces of various sizes and shapes create an infinite number of scenarios for visiting it.
The "Northern Luga" site is intended for tourist accommodation. On it there is a house for 12 people, a place for a hearth, grounds for camping and a separate bathroom. All infrastructure facilities continue the theme of peaks and form an ensemble.
On the way to the top, tourists will have a couple of stops with benches in the forest and subalpine meadows.
The last stop before the Northern Baseg ridge is an observation deck overlooking the tundra, crooked forest and Middle Baseg. The surface of the site is specially made of pressed flooring so that you can see from above the picturesque mosses, lichens and the stone river (kurumnik), which descends to this area. The bench is also an element by which you can get closer to the stones.
All infrastructure facilities are a synthesis of nature and complex geometric structures, which, while providing convenience for visiting, simultaneously enhance the aesthetic effect of being in this place.
