This retirement home for a couple with strong ties to Colorado uses stone both inside and out to make connections between the interiors and the natural site beyond. The extensive use of warm wood adds to the feeling of refined rugged comfort that grounds the house but maintains a sense of light and air. Katheryn also completed all interior design and furnishing selections. This house was featured on the cover of The Ultimate Outdoor Kitchen.
