With a love for detail, the aim was to erect a precisely cut sculpture made of concrete and grey masonry next to the client's villa, to create a festive atmosphere for the ordinary and to introduce a variety of new functions. The curve of the monolithic concrete roof gives way in front of the large pine tree. The heavy, thick concrete columns pick up the proportions of its trunk.
The green of the neighbouring garden appears through the perforated brickwork and the wall takes on an almost light, sculptural appearance. The parabolic perforated masonry is repeated in reliefs on the ceiling and picks up the shape of the concrete waist around the tree. The Barport provides space for either two cars or a bar for parties in the garden.
