The house consists of two barn-like volumes located perpendicularly to each other. This alignment of the volumes creates a small courtyard at their junction, which is a place for a tree and some low greenery. Huge glazings aroung the courtyard gives a feeling like it is actually a part of the house, and the tree seems to be growing inside. A kitchen with it's counter near the window is a perfect place to have a coffee while looking at the shimmering leaves.
The main volume of the house contains a living/dining room, a kitchen and a study while the second volume is a sleeping zone, with bedrooms and a bathroom. The use of glass and sliding windows along the edge provides a constant interaction between these two sides, with the garden intersected throughout.
Thanks to it's very simple and archetypal form, house gives a calm and rural feel. House exterior is finished with a uniform timber cladding wich makes it blend into countryside landscape.
