The design for the Baoyao office park incorporates and enhances the
quality of the surrounding area by creating a group of sustainable
buildings in a landscaped park. In order to create a large continuous
park on a site with a high plot ratio, compact buildings are efficiently
positioned along the outer edges of the site. As a result public space
no longer needs to be fragmented between buildings but can be grouped
together as one interlinked urban space. The group of buildings form a
unity in the fragmented urban environment. The low-rise design and an
abundance of green creates a luxurious public space that is unique to
the area.
