This was an interior renovation project of a premium apartment in Barcelona, aimed at maximizing light and creating new spaces. We have created a contemporary apartment with contrasting black and white shades as its core color scheme, with real woods to add a natural feel.
To achieve this, the functional spaces were rearranged such that bedrooms were located in low light areas whilst kitchen and living spaces were moved to light flooded areas of the apartment.
The main feature of the kitchen is a large island with a black marble effect porcelain countertop. It also features large thermally insulated windows which also offer high sound insulation from the busy street of Balmes below.
The bedrooms have been enlarged and feature built in wardrobes, extra-large radiators and real wood trim to enhance warmth to these rooms.
