Located at the heart of the Woodmont Triangle neighborhood in Bethesda, Bainbridge Bethesda sits on a mid-block site that allows for a thru-block pedestrian passage lined with retail and residential amenities. The residential floors sit above 1 ½ levels of residential lobby, amenity space and retail. A 15th floor club room and fitness center provides residents spectacular views. A rooftop pool and green roof also provides incredible views of downtown. The retail facades on both the street and the pedestrian passage are set back beneath the cantilevered floors above creating a podium with a height comparable to Woodmont Triangle’s characteristic one-story buildings. The building faces use a color palette of materials and patterns that reflect the eclectic nature of the neighborhood. The project’s urban location, proximity to existing public transportation, and reduced parking requirements establish a sustainable base upon which to build. The project includes an extensive green roof on the 5th floor terrace as well as the main roof surrounding the pool and penthouse areas. The narrow footprint and shallow residential units permit excellent day lighting and views for the residents.
