This senior living development project addresses the use of two adjacent and very challenging land bank parcels within the city of Novato, California. Parcel ‘A’ contains 19 studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom designs, in combination with 9 accessory units. Parcel ‘B’ is designated as a boutique agricultural zone offering a public “farmer’s market” barn and community garden. The construction utilizes a recycled, pre-fabricated modular system by Eco-Steel, sustainable materials, and solar power to create a new eco-friendly, sustainable, and affordable community.
