Bahamas Design Competition
Combining the striking panoramic vistas of the site with the abundance
of natural resources allows one to create a house that will provide
owners and guests with an appealing structure to inhabit. This home is a
fusion of Caribbean Architecture, past and present, which gracefully
represents a sustainable approach to designing a home for a family of
many generations. A series of strong axes help to unite the site, and
allow for a dynamic arrangement of spaces that revolve around a theme of
openness and “community” within the home.
