The sculptural elegance of Colin Selig's latest collection of Propane deTank™ benches belies the fact that they are upcycled from scrap propane tanks. Selig's backless benches are fabricated in a range of lengths and can be specified with end supports that vary in height and range in inclination from nearly vertical to daringly splayed. Several benches can also be joined together to form clusters. This versatility makes the benches suitable for small gardens and city sidewalks as well as larger installations such as parks, plazas, and lobbies. The functional artworks can be ordered fully-welded or with bolted-joints for ease of shipping and handling.
