In the heart of Moscow a lot of important Russian icons stood along history, the Kremlin, red square played an important role for the political life and the St. Basil church also acts as an icon for the religious life; the Pushkinsky has also the same impact on the Russian cultural life and played an important role in the heart of the Russian history, but it has been marred by years of neglect andlost its value as well as its glamour.
The design proposes the rejuvenation of this Russian cultural lighthouse, so it can rejuvenate the Russian history, traditions & culture and to push the pushkinsky forward into the future of contemporary Russian architecture to act as a landmark once again.
It starts with small pyramids cladding flowing from the back getting bigger as it reaches the front, in a wavy like manner, and this movement is depicted in changing the heights of the pyramids as it flows, pumping back life into the Russian culture passing through the front pattern which represents the Russian heritage that should be revived again. This revival as well as being shown in the flowing of the pyramids it is also shown clearer at night when the light, which represents the cultural beam that will revive and enlighten the Russian heritage represented by the front incomplete patterns.
The pyramid cladding was used on the domes in many Old Russian churches, but by adding a contemporary materials to meet today’s standards and also the pattern and colors are selected from an old traditional Russian ornament, embroidery in costumes and also in architecture.

White ( corian) exterior cladding used for in the pyramids covering the back of the pushkinsky and structural glass (sentry glass) act as the curtain wall behind the pattern.
