Form follows added value
In terms of urban planning, B3 office building raises a suitable forecourt situation with the crossroads to the main road and the headquarters of BigScreen. Conceptually, the simple turning out of the southwestern office wing of the office layout creates several advantages. When approaching, the building provides a clear access signal through a "visual barb" and forms a self-explanatory entrance gesture. Secondly, the angled façade increases the visibility from B3 federal highway and finally this creates a nice interior situation.
Black and white - reduced essence
The façade, which is strictly rhythmic with its contrasting black and white verticals, structures the building and gives B3 office building its significance and appearance. The facade follows the strict reduction to the essence of black and white. The white façade surface is contrasted with vertical black window ribbons, "negative reveals" reinforce the flatness of the main façade. Three different corrugated aluminium profiles used alternately break subtly with the flatness and lend the house a textile look, especially in light and shadow play.
Flexible Use - New Working with Skydeck
The office space of the three-storey building with a total floor space of approx. 2,200 m² is accessed by a central staircase with an elevator. Floors can be divided as required (total floor, half/half, quarter floor) and can be organized as a cell office, combi office or open-space. Modern sanitary facilities and kitchenettes with allocated outdoor areas complete a contemporary working environment. A special feature is the roof terrace. With a view to Steyregg Castle and the Danube, events can be held on this Skydeck with approx. 120m² of space or one can simply enjoy your lunch break.
